Servers are designed to be up and running 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, they cannot achieve this without constant vigilance on the part of the network administrator. As part of our standard maintenance contract, RNS technicians review the health and welfare of each and every server under our care, checking hard disk space, memory usage and availability, performance statistics, error logs, security updates etc. In this way we can detect problems before they become serious issues and, more often than not, fix them without any disruption to client’s networks and users.

Another part of our standard service is to carry out the everyday tasks on the network that make it work the way you want it to. Things like setting up new users and disabling old ones, creating shared folders where users can securely store their data and setting up and sharing network printers.

The vast majority of these tasks can be performed remotely via a secure internet link direct from our own network to yours. This means that any administrative changes or remedial actions can be performed quickly and efficiently with little or no disruption to your network activities.
